I had no idea what this book was about, didn’t even read the title, let alone the sinopsis, I just really like the font on the cover and the cover overall (I’m a designer), so I wasn’t really expecting anything, and that was good, because I wasn’t disappointed, but it also didn’t blow my mind, it was jus a nice, kinda cozy book.
I feel like it could have been shorter, a bunch of things happened that made zero sense, and the abundance of characters was overwhelming, and I was not really a huge fan of the ending, it felt rush, and flat, not quite bad, it just didn’t stick the landing for me.
I think, overall, it was cute, not the best cozy book I’ve read, but at least I was not completely bored and I really liked the recipes and the food talk, and the magic elements.
