Javi
My heart bleeds for Javi! He has endured so much trauma and cruelty from others from the time he was little. Rejection is all he has known, from his birth parents, the foster care system and kids at school. This has severely affected Javi’s self esteem, his stutter is something he has been shamed for his entire life, he hates it himself so he prefers to communicate using sign language the majority of the time.
After a less than favourable introduction to his Beauitful neighbour and his adorable baby girl Javi is determined to be a thoughtful neighbour. He didn’t expect to fall in love with Gordo or his stunning little girl, a perfect family that Javi wants to be a part of more than anything.

Gordo
Adjusting to being a single father to a newborn little girl is running Gordo ragged, he is struggling and desperate to be a perfect father, what is not helping is the constant partying next door by his gorgeous tattoo artist of a neighbour. Gordo misjudged him, it only took once to ask and his neighbour adjusted his daily routine to accommodate his daughter. Javi is smart sensitive and kind… he is a man of very few words and as Gordo finds out Javi has a stutter but that is only a little part of him. Gordo juggling his new job and fatherhood finds himself turning to his neighbour more often and Javi is right there holding his daughter with nothing but love in his eyes and shining with patience and grace.
Gordo didn’t expect to find his perfect match in his new neighbour but that’s exactly what Javi is.

They have to overcome insecurity and vulnerability both have been hurt in the past and are having to address this in their new relationship. They learn to open up to one another, trusting each other to fight for this love, to lean on each other in their time of need.
