Diary of a Drag Queen by Tom Rasmussen, Crystal Rasmussen

July's "Lavender Book Club" book

I actually do not know this person and read this book for book club. Tom Rasmussen's memoir told in a diary format about their experience being queer and coming into their drag queen persona. The themes of this book centered around having a chosen queer family, the appreciation and relationship growth between them and their parents post coming out, questionable actions, raunchy and random sex, and just the overall unhingeness of living a life as a young, queer non-binary drag queen just trying to figure it out. Very camp, very gay, and very entertaining.
