Abandon by Elana Johnson

3.0

This book was a great ending to this series. So many times author's are afraid of ending it in a way that could alienate their readers, and I was so glad that Elana Johnson did what she felt was necessary. I did really like the interactions between all of the characters but especially between Vi and Jag. Zenn was the most heartbreaking character because he really wasn't sure of where he wanted to be. He had always used Vi as either his moral compass or his reasoning, and suddenly she wasn't there to tell or coax him into decisions. Which seems odd because Vi was so indecisive that it was annoying at times, but Zenn always made the best decisions because of her. I really liked Saffediene and I was disappointed that their story never really went anywhere, but overall it was a good book. The only thing that kept things disjointed was the point of view changes, and so because of that I would give it a 3.5 stars. It was incredibly good and I would recommend it, but be prepared to be unhappy with the ending.
