Spineless: The Science of Jellyfish and the Art of Growing a Backbone by Juli Berwald

3.0

This is part of the very popular memoir in nature genre. Where we think we’re getting jellyfish info but mostly we’re getting the author’s life as it interacts to jellyfish. Which is fine. As long as you know that’s what you’re getting. Yet it is so rarely presented that way.
Anywho, the author wants to do something meaningful and decides to write a book about jellyfish. She’s also go a weird preoccupation with her weight and Israel - eat the pita geez.
Overall interesting, thought it was over about 2/3 into it but it kept going.
