Kingdoms and Chaos by Kel Kade

5.0

I love this series and I love Kade as an author. Rezkin is in my top 3 characters of all time. The complexity of this story is amazing. I don't know how Kade keeps it all straight. Kade's imagination runs wild. Very few authors (I can't think of any off the top of my head) can write so over the top and be so far fetched and get away with it. Somehow with these characters it works perfectly and is believable. The plot in this installment is primarily about a quest. And yet it further develops the plot which just keeps expanding so far. This does bring up the challenge of the potential length of this series. At this plot progression rate it could easily be 2 dozen books. I know Kade has another series just started as well, which I love. It doesn't seem like any way he can work on 2 series and progress this series in any reasonable amount of time. Which is disappointing. But I sure love it so far and look forward to #5 in the future. P.S. Nick Poedehl, the audio performer, continues his fantastic work. Top Notch!
