The story doesn't measure up to the first book, and I didn't connect with the characters as strongly this time around.
While the journey of Liadan did take me on an emotional rollercoaster, the romance between her and Bran felt sudden (out of nowhere).
I didn’t like both main characters all that much, also i found the Lord and Lady of the faerie folk to be rude and selfish.
