Looking for Alaska by John Green

4.0

This one is hard to write a review for. I liked it, I really really did; the characters and setting were so vivid that I know it's going to stick with me for a long time. But I honestly felt zero sympathy with Alaska, and it was almost painful that Pudge and the Colonel and everyone else loved her so much. I don't know why, or if my feelings will change with time, but it frustrated me to no end. Had she been different, somehow, I probably would have been bawling my eyes out, but as it stands I thought it was a good book but that's it.
