One More For Christmas by Sarah Morgan

4.0

For many years I have enjoyed reading Christmas themed books in December and this book has been a welcome addition to that tradition.

Gayle is a high powered businesswoman who runs a consultancy business and has written two books. But her controlled life is about to unravel as a result of an embarrassing incident in front of a tv crew.

Meanwhile there are her estranged daughters, Samantha and Ella who she hasn't been in touch with for 5 years. Ella has a couple of large secrets that she hasn't shared with her mother. These being the fact that she is married and also that she has a daughter.

Gayle gets in touch with Samantha after she is injured as she realises she is alone and would like to make amends with her daughters if possible. Then there is the suggestion of them spending Christmas together in Scotland. Will it work or go pear shaped.

A highly enjoyable read.
