The Shadows and Crowns series by S.M. Gaither is quickly becoming a complete and total obsession of mine, and honestly, I’m not even complaining!!! Casia has been through so much at this point, and I feel like she’s the kind of character that’s incredibly complex. There are a lot of layers to her personality and her thought process, and I’ve truly loved learning more about her, especially through the new alliances she makes in this one. I also really loved Elander; he’s a really powerful character, and I really think he would burn the world down to keep Casia safe - so serious “touch her and die” vibes. A lot happens in this book plot wise as well, and I loved all the twists and turns!!! This was absolutely a 5 star read for me!!!
