Such fun!

I've never been terribly interested in wax works, find them kind of creepy and the latest addition's to Madame Tussaud's don't seem to bear a passing resemblance to whom they are supposed to portray... But none of that matters because this book is a wonderful imagining of what the woman behind the brand could have been like; small, obscure, bizarre but brilliant.

Picked this up because of the bright pink cover, but stayed for the story, the characters and Carey's illustrations.
