the story continues as Carls have seemingly left the Earth, turning into a dystopian world that includes a new enemy that is an AI company that has invented a new game that has everyone hooked. hidden within are evil intentions. the story unfolds over many twists and turns, resulting in a story that depicts some of our reality (how hooked we all are to our phones, the Metaverse, etc.) and a slow love story between the well-built characters and Carl. it was a fast-paced read that was exciting and easy to follow.

Hank Green is an absolutely genius storyteller and writer, i loved the Carl character so much and felt heartbroken and was literally sobbing by the end of this read. definitely an adventure, highly recommended for anyone that might be looking to step into fiction reading or perhaps, going through a reading slump!Â
