I'd give this 5 stars if it were a little more feminist. I think if this were updated to normalize the genders or mix the stories between different genders the same dynamics could be articulated. I'm a man, but I'm also an over-functioning nice lady! I also saw a lot simply as me as a child in the family dynamics, but also a parent in the dynamics with my ex. Worth the read, keep your experiences in mind as you read.
