A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout
4.0
The second book of the Blood and Ash series did not disappoint. I enjoyed the progression of Poppy and Casteel’s relationship and discovering more clues about Poppy’s mysterious background. There are still so many questions left unanswered and I can’t wait to get to the next book.
Kingdom of Flesh and Fire was a bit slower burning than From Blood and Ash but I felt like there was a lot more world building that was necessary and I enjoyed. Like the first book, this sequel is somewhat lacking in originality but is compelling enough to keep me turning the page.
