I think this was the first time I’ve actually read a book with explicit transgender representation.
I think it was done pretty well, but I wouldn’t really know, myself. I would have been interested to see if there would be any sort of aspect where Peter would see his family again, but looking back on it now, it is not really part of the story, and I understand that
