The Curse of the Romanovs by Staton Rabin

3.0

I was a bit disappointed in this book. I was okay with the time travel bit but the whole Rasputin thing was just weird. I know Rasputin was very strange and survived when others didn't think he would but why would he try to kill his own son, follow him through time and then die for him? (Not that it was believable that Rasputin was his father.) I also felt so bad because if Alexei managed to survive the slaughter, it would totally suck to spend most of the rest of your life in a metal institute.
