I love LeGuins writing, and enjoy her worldbuilding even more. This series feels like Harry Potter if Harry had to face himself before he could face Voldemort. I liked how his destiny, and his knowledge of his destiny, made him proud before it made him humble. It is the first book outlines this poignant character arc, but the Tombs of Atuan is my favourite. I enjoyed Ahra, or Tenar, as a character and found her development and character believable as well. The third book is my least favourite, especially because I hoped to read more about Tenar and I felt that the ending was a bit rushed. Overall, I would recommend this series especially if you are in a reading slump, as the pace and prose invite you to continue reading.
