Breasts and Eggs by Mieko Kawakami

5.0

It's a wonderfully written (and translated) novel regarding the complexities of womanhood, and it also highlights the issues surrounding donor conception by providing perspectives from both sides of the argument.

I really love Kawakami's writing style, and I think that her writing was easy to follow through while being beautiful at the same time. Her characters also came alive through her writing, and I think they were well-fleshed out.
