A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams

3.0

So I was supposed to read this for today, Friday, in AP Lit. Well, I'm done.

Thoughts:

Ooookay?

What the hell, Blanche? No seriously, what the hell?

I don't even think it was Stanley, it was Blanche being all bipolar.. Seriously, I hate women like her. Lying, manipulative, manic people who need some meds and/or a slap upside the face.

description

You tell 'em, Cher!

Stanley was an uncouth thug, nothing more. Blanche obviously was bipolar. Hypersexuality (hinting that the Flamingo must've been a brothel or something of that nature), her melodramatics that border on psychosis, her compulsive lying, everyone out to get her and prevent her from having a good time, etc.

Ugh, what an annoying woman. I'm glad she got tossed in the loony bin.
