so good!! i really appreciate brittney's empathy and vulnerability. her writing tone feels conversational but still hits you with statistics, facts, and important points. i love this book because only she could have written it; the story is uniquely hers and yet it will resonate with so many black women especially. it didn't have the generic, surface-level "racism is bad" arguments. i learned several new things in this read, but it didn't feel like reading an academic text. i was thoroughly entertained and engrossed at both brittney's humor and honesty. highly recommend!
