The Family by Mario Puzo

3.0

This book has some great characters, and very heavy concepts about sin and evil. One thing to note: it is very much 'told'. Idk how Puzo usually writes, but in this story he prefers to tell the reader rather than show. That's why the beginning was quite boring for me.

My favourite character was Cesare, and the only reason this book didn't get 4 stars was because of the end :(
I don't know how Cesare Borgia's real life was (I'll be reading up about it momentarily), but I wish it was better than what happens in this book.
