Devil of the High Seas by Lauren Smith

Gavin and Jose kept the story moving with very entertaining interludes. I was drawn to the book by the story the generates and develops between to brothers, Gavin and Griffin. These are brothers bonded by blood, bonded by family and bonded by love. The heroineJose’s character was good for the book; however I felt that her age could have been bumped up from eighteen to an age of twenty four or older. The scenes between the eighteen and twenty six year old skates along the lines that are conflicting to visualize in today’s time. Even though times then were different. I remain very respectful to the point of the story of the brotherly bond that is so powerful for the enrichment that the characters and the story brings. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
