It's very good. Vocalized important things for me. I think the TV show had some better choices. The criticism I've heard around this book is baffling to me. I think Sally Rooney's descriptions make the most sense. I find the characters deeply human. Very contemplative and I enjoyed the questioning of societal norms around human relationships. I find the end very hopeful in the sense of maybe things could be different, maybe we could relate to each other more honestly in a world that doesn't want us to be able to. The ending was the perfect ending. I think the way they handled the father situation was bizarre. I would have liked to dig more into Frances and Bobbi's relationship. I would have liked to know more about Melissa.
