This was an amazing ending to the trilogy, especially the last 20% of the book. I loved the good vs evil aspect of this story. I don’t think I have ever seen a spiritual aspect to the magic in fantasy books before now. Imari’s magic song being connected so strongly to the Makers (basically God by a different name) was amazingly written. And I loved the soft way he spoke to her to let her know he was with her while she changed the world for the better with the gifts he gave her from birth.
This book had an amazing cast of characters with robust personalities that you couldn’t help but love and root for. And the character growth for many of the characters were well written and very heartwarming.
I will admit the book dragged a little in the middle but it got better. Stick with it, the ending was worth it.
