Buffy, The Vampire Slayer: Once More, With Feeling - The Musical Scriptbook by Joss Whedon

5.0

5*

How can I not rate it 5 stars? Seriously. That episode is one of my most favorite in the whole entire series and most definitely one to put on a MUST WATCH list to introduce new fans to the series... even if OMWF covers and opens doors to a lot of things that happened before and making you wonder what's gonna happen next. And, boy, do things move after this episode... Hold on to your seats...

I love that this script exists. I was actually singing the songs as I was reading them and I could clearly see the scenes in my head as I kept on reading. It also made me discover something I hadn't caught on in the show with one of the pictures taken from shooting the episode.

I love how the script is written. It gives a good idea about every episodes of every seasons and how, maybe, it was on set as well. And I also love that we got to see (well, read) what was cut from the actual episode. Nothing too big, nothing major, just little things that actually didn't make the plot move along, I guess but I like it anyway.

I cannot, for the life of me, read music so, for me, I could have done without the sheet music at the end but I can see how people would appreciate it. Then again, there's a whole soundtrack that's available... Oh well. I did enjoy the behind the scenes stuff as well. References from little things that were mentioned story wise or just in the script as is, outside of the story. I like details like this, that was neat. And the added pictures were also fun. I would have liked more behind the scenes stuff like pictures between scenes and such or bloopers type things but I guess we can't have everything, can we? There were some experiences from the shoot and songs and all so that is very cool.

Definitely a must if you love Buffy the vampire Slayer and you collect stuff from the show! ♥♥
