I enjoyed this book quite a lot and it was really fun to solve the mystery together with Thomas and Audrey Rose (I even got the killer right, lol). But I think sometimes everything was happening too fast and it didn't feel like the characters deserved to find out something yet. Maybe it would have helped if they stayed there for longer and the two of them would have built closer relationships with the new characters. I understand this is one mystery per book but half of the book was just 5 days so everything seem to happen way too quickly, maybe just making longer periods in the book would have been better. Some of the writing seemed a bit questionable sometimes. One of the examples would be corsets, they were not as terrible as the author makes it seem and I remember something was compared to butter... which was also a bit weird. Still enjoyed the book and characters very much.
