Machines Like Me by Ian McEwan

4.0

This is quite a good robot book. Man buys a humanoid robot, who very soon tells him his girlfriend is not to be trusted. Much daily life struggles of humans, with the robot a Spaniard in the works. Recommended. Setting the book in an alternate reality in the 80's is basically a gimmick, but it does give Alan Turing a chance to pontificate on life, at the end. Recommended.
