The American Pageant: A History of the American People by Lizabeth Cohen, David M. Kennedy

4.0

Obviously I'm not reading this book for kicks, but I've decided to add it to my list since I do read it every weekend extensively for assignments. But I mean, so for it's enjoyable. The reading is humorous at some points where yes, I do smile at the text. One example would be "sunblessed Mexicans." Really, are we blessed because we don't get burned? I'm laughing.

Now that I'm finished with the class, I can honestly say that I'll miss this book. Not thinking about the pain it out me through, I can sincerely say that I enjoyed the writing and it made the history come much more alive, along with a sense of humor.
