How Not to Die Alone by Richard Roper

4.0

This gave me major "The Nix" vibes. With that being said, this book is amazing. There is something truly beautiful about reading about a seemingly "mundane" life, and the beauty that emerges from our every day. Obviously there is so much more to this novel. This novel paints a life, not just in one moment, but the covers the idea of a person from beginning to end. This is often something we forget about. We are our past, present, and future. Not matter how much we try to pretend that certain things don't exist. HTNDA is also a reminder that despite these thing, we have control, and we NEED to take control. I highly recommend this story.
