The Photographer's Wife by Nick Alexander

4.0

As I am not familiar with author's works, I did not really know what to expect. But I must say that I expect something more romantic and sweet. What I got was totally different but I enjoyed it.

I liked how author told this story. I think we all have had those moments when - even if not so huge & dramatic as in the book - as we grow up, we find new truths and sides of our parents. Or maybe we realise that what we saw and thought to understand, I totally different.

Anyway, it is definitely not the book of the century or masterpiece, but it is quite enjoyable, realistic, dark, time to time sad and interesting.
