Secrets of a Wedding Night by Valerie Bowman

Did not finish book.
I really wanted to like this book. Really, really, really. Because the author is such a sweet lady. And a great Beau Monde member. But I just couldn't.

I kept reading it far past when I normally would have put a book with such problems down. But I finally had to stop around mid-way through. Too many historical anachronisms, no real plot to speak of, too many misused words, and a hero and heroine who had backstories but were pretty much blank slates in the personality department. And also, a conflict based on a misunderstanding, rather than any true difference between the lovers.

Wish I could have given this a better review :-(
