I can't even imagine the fear and trepidation and uncertainty Javier must have felt as a 9 year old embarking on this very difficult journey to reunite with his parents in the US from El Salvador. The journey with Javier was so vivid and I am so glad that he had Chino, Patricia and Clara with him during the journey.  How hard it must have been for his grandfather to entrust him to others to make this long journey!  If you enjoyed Enrique's Journey, I think you would enjoy this memoir.  The audiobook was excellent with the author narrating it. I wish the chapters were shorter. I understand organizing the journey in the way he did but for readers who switch between audio and physical book it was more of a challenge.
