This book was incredible. I read the entire thing in one sitting just about. Initially I read it because I was told it was a retelling of King Lear - it’s not but it has those allusions and it’s an easy comparison to make. This is possibly the best plot twist I’ve ever read because it was so delicately planned out and entwined in the story. I loved that this book was told in present tense because we really take this journey with Cady and that makes the end so much crazier than expected. Absolutely think everyone should read this.
Graphic: Fire/Fire injury and Grief
Moderate: Death, Child death, Injury/Injury detail, and Alcohol
