Eternal, by Cynthia Leitich Smith

3.0

It was a good read on a boring day. Read it in a single day. The only thing that bothered me while reading it was when Miranda turned into a vampire/eternal, she didnt even bother thinking of her family, especially her mom whom she lives with. It's unbelievable of her to even show slight care for her pet Mr. nesbit or whatever its name is, but doesnt even stop to think she misses her mom or dad.

Anyway, i love how it ended though. Not in the usual "and they live happily ever after" type but it's given that it's a happy ending. And i love Zachary's point of views/narrations. I love his "angels aren't perfect" image.

Overall, i like the story and i think the plot is very original with the angel-vampire love going on.
