This book could have—and SHOULD have—been much shorter. Anything tense and vitally relevant occurs in the first 35% AND last 25% of this book; the middle 40% is mostly filler. The story drags, especially with the pace being so slow and uneven. It's filled with many irrelevant POVs on side characters that aren't crucial to the VAGAS'S story; let them (e.g. Xavier, the spares, & Sofia) have their own spin-offs for anyone actually interested in them because I certainly am not!
Unnecessary drama has been incorporated to further drag the story along, and some plot holes have me rolling my eyes a bit too often. Furthermore, there is too much emphasis on sex now that it's lost its appeal for me; work on developing actual relationships, chemistry, and tension (like BlueLance) instead so that I will actually WANT the characters to hook-up. Finally, Darius is still highly unattractive and toxic—I really don't care for him and his childish, spoiled, and uncalled for temper tantrums. Grow up, dude!
