This Winter by Alice Oseman

3.5*
I wasn't sure what to expect from this novella. It was gut wrenching and did showcase (quite well) how people respond to others with mental illness. Everyone's trying their best and for some of us Christmas isn't a super happy time. It was a good insight into several characters' POVs.
It was shorter than I thought, and felt slightly repetitive. I guess I finished it and was like 'oh, is that it?'. I know Oseman is a great writer, I adore Loveless, but this didn't quite hit the mark for me.
But if you adore Nick and Charlie, then I would recommend.
