The Sword of Kaigen is clearly one for the ages, as it takes a close look on the effects of propaganda in a community, especially when said community is devoid of any public knowledge to challenge the information that is being fed to them.
It also takes a look at parental abuse, neglect and the catastrophe of needless gender roles, as well the devastating tools for war that are still in use in today’s world, tools I might add only seem to affect women (rape).
This book is nothing short of stunning peace of art, it’s genuine and unrelenting, and it doesn’t spare the reader with its brazen show of brutality. In short, it was fucking amazing
