A phenomenal first entry in the wider Pokémon Adventures series. My partner just recently got me the first collector's edition that I've been seeking out in book stores for a while, and it feels exactly like it did when I read it the first time. Red and Blue are fun rivals, and the others they introduce along the way make for a fun alternative to Pokémon as a series.
