Did I love every character in this book? Hell no. They all fucking suck.
Am I comparing these character's actions to real life? Obviously not. These people aren't real.
Was some of this book cringe? Yeah dude.. it was unbearable at times.
Could I put this book down? Absolutely not. I read it in one sitting.
The amount of people I see saying they don't condone these actions blows my mind. I don't think any of those people should be reading dark romance. I would throw up and adopt a new identity if a man talked to me like James did. But did I eat that mf shit up in the STORY? Absolutely I did.
It's not a perfect book, but damn, it was entertaining as hell. I actually didn't anticipate enjoying it as much as I did considering I don't typically enjoy CR/DR but shucks, I really liked it! Good thing I already bought every other book in the series because imma read 'em. The twists were crazy because I was flabbergasted when they all happened. Good stuff. 4/5 because it was good but didn't blow my mind.
