Death on the Nile: A Hercule Poirot Mystery by Agatha Christie

3.0

3.5. This is the first time I knew who did it - I had absolutely no idea how, but I knew the who. I knew the who right away and I think that took some of the fun out of the who-dun-it for me because at no point did I ever even waver (it felt somehow ridiculously obvious, I know it probably wasn't, but it was so glaring that I never entertained anyone else for even a moment). It was well-written and the how was fun to find out but getting to that point... I was tapping my foot through almost the entire second half of the book because I didn't need the red herrings, I needed the explanation! Also, no Captain Hastings but that was less of a bummer this time around because at least he was still mentioned :)
