Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
4.0
a solid 4 stars
i saw this book at a shop in roma, and it had been in my tbr for so long, so i decided to buy it because i felt like it was a sign. i'm so glad i did! it was thoroughly enjoyable.
starting out with the only real problem i had with this book. it's not really a problem, more on me than on the actual writing, but it made me fall asleep at first, so it was super difficult to read when i started it, but once i got into the evidence it was so good. this book reads like asmr but slightly different, if that makes sense.
when i tell you i love mary debenham with all my heart, i mean that shit. she's such a queen and i can only aspire to be like her. "i am afraid i cannot have hysterics to prove my sensibility" will forever be ingrained into my brain.
overall, big recommend. it was so fun, like it's so of its time that it makes it extra fun.
