Northeast Regional by Emma Cline

4.0

Emma Cline has the most deep seated knowledge of human psychology and behaviour. I could see it in her book '[b:The Girls|26893819|The Girls|Emma Cline|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1492065338s/26893819.jpg|42856015]' and I see it in this short story for The New Yorker.

The story is of a man who while on a weekend dalliance with a married woman, gets a call about an incident that his son is involved in his boarding school. The story is a direct insight into his thoughts and surroundings.

It's just the right amount of 'Fucked Up'. Read away!
