This book is nothing like the Disney version. I'd have to call it an adult fairy tale as there is an actual Blue Fairy in the book and a talking cricket. He gets smashed in chapter two. i am quite pleased to have found this particular fresh translation and recommend it to anyone wishing to find out the real story of Pinocchio.
