Frostbite: The Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead

4.0

It made me happy to get more content with Mason and Rose. He’s her best friend after Lissa, so I didn’t feel like he got the attention he deserved in the first comic. Mason really cares about Rose but unfortunately she just doesn’t feel the same way for him.

I literally squealed when Adrian arrived. You must be new here if you don’t know my love for Adrian Ivashkov. I don’t like the whole Rose and Adrian ship (I’m hardcore Romitri and Sydrian shipper) but I love it every time when Adrian calls her “little dhampir”.

I liked how the artist draw the fight scene. I’m really bad at writing and seeing the fight scenes writes describe for me in my head. I just really don’t like Guardian Hathaway especially after she lost her temper.

I knew that you-know-who was going to die but it still made me cry. It made me so sad. The artist drew Rose’s feelings amazingly. It’s making me sad to even think about it.

What I enjoyed maybe the most were those hot scenes between Lissa and Christian and Rose and Dimitri. Hopefully the next one will have more of those.

I’m still not big fan of how the characters look like but this one made me feel a lot of different feels; happy, sad, confused etc. In a minute period I went from crying to being happy.

I feel like the recap in the beginning was unnecessary but I guess it would be good to the ones who read the first comic a long time ago and couldn’t remember what happened.

All in all good graphic novel. I enjoyed this more than the first one, and not only because of Adrian. I had forgotten how much I like Rose and Dimitri together.
