This is this authors first work so it’s not surprising that the story is not as good as I’d hoped. There was no sequence of events that made sense in my opinion. It was like starting a series at book 2 so all the vital information like the who’s who and what’s what is in book one. There was no backstory or anything. Just action. And even then it wasn’t adding up.

I understand the whole trauma and obsessive behavior thing but it was just weird lol. Even the intimate moments between the characters were weird at best. It was like a series of events were just thrown together and dragged out with very little forethought. Then there’s the grammatical errors!!!! The idea behind the book is nice but the execution lacks.
