Looking for Alaska by John Green

5.0

I wish I could give Looking for Alaska 6 or 7 stars out of 5. Yeah, it's that good and it's not even in my usual genre of choice. It's a beautiful and tragic tale of life and tragedy, of how we deal with tragedy and how we allow it to shape our lives. Green does an excellent job portraying the lives of these teens, Pudge (Miles), The Colonel (Chip), Takumi, Lara, and of course Alaska, in a real and authentic way rather than making them into model teenagers that fail to represent real life. You'll cry, you'll smile, you'll get angry, but in the end you'll be glad you read it.
