They were gripping, diverse, complicated and intriguing characters. Each family/story held my attention, was completely different and brought new culture, family dynamics and yet held similar core values that could be recognised throughout all of them. Was a completely different book to what i normally read which i enjoyed and made me want to read more of her books. Such beautiful stories and relationships. I felt like i learned a lot.
