This was an enjoyable read and I can see it’s charm. But it’s not really one I’d personally be recommending.

Maybe it’s because it was a bit to Insta love for my taste or the fact that a lot of key events were just skimmed over and spoken about it paste tense.

The story was enjoyable and the author has definitely created the perfect villain in her ex. But just maybe not enough plot for me and I wasn’t a huge fan of some of the dialogue and wording choices (one involving ‘juice’, that I think should be removed from from the English lnangusg).  Just all felt a bit too forced.

“I’m into you. A lot. I’d like to be with you, for real. Try out the role of being your man”

Also, felt the whole Tess situation was left unresolved. Sure that’s also how the characters felt, but just seemed odd.

Good if you’re looking for a quick and spicy read.
