“Natural Beauty” was strange, unsettling, horrific, and yet… absolutely riveting. I picked this book up because it was recommended for people who enjoyed Mona Awad’s “Rouge.” I love Mona Awad, so I definitely wanted to give it a try! The books definitely offer similar insights into the beauty / wellness industry, but aren’t too similar in a way that makes Natural Beauty seem unoriginal.

Body Horror is such a weird and unique genre and i love when it books intertwine it with cultish settings. I do not have much to say about this book other than it left my jaw on the floor in disgust and that I absolutely loved every second of it.
