The Trials of Adeline Turner by Angela Terry

emotional hopeful lighthearted reflective

3.5

This story was easy to read. The main character named Addie was likable, and the drama in her life was entertaining. However, sometimes I felt that I was reading from a teenager's point of view instead of a grown woman's. In general, the plot was interesting and fun to read, and I loved that Addie's enemy at work was someone that I did not think of but that it made sense storywise.  Regarding the ending, I have to say that I really liked it, but I think it was rushed. I would have wanted to see in detail how her relationship developed with the person she chose.

Thanks to NetGalley and Girl Friday Books, I had the opportunity to read the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
